Hollylynn Towie Scholarship
applications closed for 2022
Open to Durham Residents Only
Hollylynn Towie was an excellent student, a loving daughter, and a wonderful friend. Tragically, Hollylynn passed away in a house fire in Whitby on
April 29th, 2012, along with her two best friends. Holly was on the autism spectrum. Her family has given us the honour of setting up a scholarship fund in her memory and has worked tirelessly year after year to raise money for the fund.
The purpose of the scholarship is to provide financial assistance directly to autistic students in Durham Region who are pursuing their dreams and attending a post-secondary institution at any level within Canada. This scholarship is open to first year and returning students.
